Event Recap: Pancakes with a Purpose

On July 8 and July 10, 2025, Groundworks Canada’s Calgary branch proudly participated in the legendary Bootleggin’ Breakfast, contributing to the festivities during the Calgary Stampede. Team members joined the King of Stampede Breakfasts at both the Westin Hotel Ballroom and Fairmont Palliser Ballroom, serving pancakes to support a greater cause.

This VIP experience brought together corporate leaders, music icons, and community champions in a sold-out celebration. As proud sponsors, we valued the opportunity to back a charitable initiative while connecting with the heart of Corporate Calgary.

The energy of the crowd, the warmth of the mission, and the hope it inspires serve as a reminder of the power of coming together for something greater than ourselves.

Community Impact Highlights

Groundworks Canada’s partnership contributed to a regional movement, fostering support for children across Calgary through the Zero Hungry Kids initiative. Together, the Bootleggin’ Breakfast community ensured students in grades K–6 receive the meals they need to succeed at school.
